Method 1: Existing Ring
Select a ring that fits your intended finger comfortably. Measure the internal diameter across the widest point in millimeters using a rigid metal ruler.
Method 2: Strip of Paper
Wrap a narrow, non-stretchy paper strip around the knuckle base. Mark the overlap point with a sharp pencil and measure the total length in millimeters.
Method 3: Temperature
Always measure fingers at room temperature at the end of the day when hands are at their natural volume. Avoid measuring after cold exposure.
